Mt. Bandai
Twenty years ago we climbed Mt. Bandai (also called “Aizu-Fuji”) in summer, with a baby on my back. The height of Mt. Bandai is 1819 m. When we came down 30 minutes from the top of the mountain, there was a space called “Kobo-Shimizu.” We set up a tent there. At night we were able to see the Milky Way clearly. The photo below is Mt. Bandai seen from the north (back) side in January.

【磐梯山】
20年前に、夏に赤ん坊を背負って磐梯山（会津富士とも言う）に登った。高さは1819ｍ。頂上から30分ほど下ると弘法清水という場所があった。そこに、テントを張った。夜になると、天の川がはっきりと見えた。
下の写真は、北側（裏側）から見た一月の磐梯山。
下の写真は、早朝の秋元湖で撮った。雪野原には、いろんな足跡があった。誰かがこの足跡はキツネのだと言った。ウサギの足跡も見つけた。
Home page Real Japan では、何の写真かわかりませんでしたが、これでわかりました。
限りなく想像が膨らむ素敵な写真ですね。
Thank you for your comment. At first there were foot prints only. As a morning light began to shine, silhouette of the trees appeared. Then, snow started twinkling. For ten minutes or so, we were able to enjoy the changes of the snow field that the light provided.

始めのうちは、足跡だけでした。朝の光が輝きだすとシルエットが現れ、それから、雪がキラキラし始めました。１０分かそこら、光が織りなす雪原の変化を楽しむことができました。
